Cllr. Oswald Tweh Commissioned As New Justice Minister

MONROVIA – Cllr. N. Oswald Tweh has been commissioned as Liberia’s Justice Minister and Attorney General by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr.
Tuesday, March 5, 2024, saw the commissioning ceremony take place at the Executive Mansion in Monrovia. Officials from the government and the honoree’s family attended.

During the commissioning event, President administered the oath of office and gave Cllr. Tweh a mandate to preserve, defend, and safeguard the nation’s laws and Constitution. He made it clear that his appointments were all intended to move the nation in the direction of fresh vitality.
President Boakai emphasized to the new Justice Minister and other ministers he had previously nominated that they were picked to carry out the government’s goal. According to him, it is the duty of the government to set the nation on the correct course for the welfare of its citizens.

Justice Minister Tweh replied by thanking the President for his preference and vowed to maintain the trust placed in him. He also pledged to approach the task with the highest professionalism and his decades-long legal competence.
