Hundreds of Bongese Support Kotee for Bong Superintendent Post

GBARNGA, BONG COUNTY – Several citizens of Bong County are calling on President Joseph Boakai to appoint Mr. William Kotee, Unity Party’s Campaign Manager for the County in the just-ended presidential election to serve as the direct vice juror or Superintendent of Bong County.

With several names surfacing for Bong’s superintendent, Mr. William Kotee’s name has taken center stage in public discussions; with some calling him “Bong’s Redeemer.”

The overwhelming support from citizens of the county revealed that the citizens are wholeheartedly willing to work with Mr.Kotee’s leadership to transform the county under the Unity Party’s led administration.

“Mr. William Kotee is a very good man. He is an industrious son of this county. He is willing to serve this county and he must be allowed to serve us as Superintendent. We are recommending to H.E. President Joseph Nyuma Boakai to swiftly appoint him,” an optimistic resident of Gbarnga John Kollie noted.

Mr. Kollie expressed regret in the leadership of former Superintendent Esther Walker under whose leadership the County was in a complete mess, marred by corruption.

According to him, Madam Walker’s failure jeopardized the opportunity for females to serve in said position under the Unity Party government.

It is reported that in post-war Liberia, Bong County had just a male Superintendent (Dr. Renney Banama Jackson) whose leadership has been described as the most successful administration in Bong County.

With this, the concerned Citizens believe that it is time for a male Superintendent to serve; describing Mr. Kotee as the only alternative.

Mr. William Kotee is a son of the Kpaai District who has served in the private sector for several decades with an impeccable reputation.

He managed the Unity Party’s campaign in Bong with admirable contributions, ranging from finance to logistical support.

Bong County citizens are recommending to President Boakai to include Mr. Kotee in his pending nominations so as to help give the county hope for a better future.
