Ms. Nathlyn Patience Bestman Dedicates UN Volunteers Liberia Award to Youth and Global Volunteers

Job-Us Liberia Inc. CEO, Ms. Nathlyn Patience Bestman has dedicated her UN Volunteers Liberia Award to youth and global volunteers following receipt of the prestigious award at the just-ended International Volunteer Day, held in Monrovia on December 5, 2023.

Nathlyn Patience Bestman said she was delighted and humbled to be announced for selection for the prestigious UN Volunteers Liberia Award. Amongst 52 nominations, she has been recognized for her unwavering dedication and selfless efforts in promoting youth access to education for improved livelihood.

Mandated by the UN General Assembly, the International Volunteer Day is held each year on the 5th day of December. It is viewed as a unique chance for volunteers and organizations to celebrate their efforts, to share their values and to promote their works among their communities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), United Nations agencies, government authorities, and the private sector.

In commemoration of International Volunteers Day, Ms. Bestman wholeheartedly dedicated her award to every young individual striving to have access to education to enhance their livelihoods.

 She acknowledged the challenges faced by today’s youth and firmly believes that education plays a pivotal role in empowering them to achieve their dreams and catalyze positive change in communities.

Speaking to Journalists at the end of the colorful honoring program in Monrovia recently, Ms. Bestman gratefully extended her heartfelt appreciation to UN Volunteers Liberia for acknowledging and understanding the significance of promoting access to education. 

The recognition serves as a testament to the importance and impact of volunteer work globally.
