Tribal Governors Council Honored and Gowned Senator Kpehe for His Unbending Advocacy for Bong Development

(Gbarnga, Bong County) – The Tribal Governors Council of Bong County has honored, gowned, and provided a walking rod to Senator Johnny K. Kpehe Sr. for his outstanding role and unending advocacy for development in the County.

Conferring the Honor of Senator Kpehe, the Chairman of the Governor Council, Domenic Carr, disclosed that they were honoring the Bong County Senator based on his commitment to his people and the nation at large, including his tolerance to opposition politicians in Bong County.

The Bong County Tribal Governor Council Chairman at the same time described Senator Kpehe as an outstanding and definable fearless astute politician whose representation has exposed and prevented unworkable formula and place blockage on unprecedented activities in Bong County.

They added that the motive behind the honor is for them as Tribal Governor Council to purely testify without fear, sentiment, or favor of Senator Kpehe, but because of his continuous and unbending advocacy for social justice and equality in the County.

The Tribal leaders further indicated that the Bong County Legislator has proven to be one of Liberia’s best 55th Senators at the National Legislature.

“We the Tribal Governor Council which comprises the sixteen tribes of Liberia are very pleased to bestow this honor to you Senator Johnny K. Kpehe Sr. for your outstanding role in Bong County and the Liberian society,” they stressed.

Additionally, they called on Senator Kpehe to continue to work in the interest of the people of the County, noting that God will reward him (Senator Kpehe).

Receiving the honor, Senator Kpehe extolled the citizens for their farsightedness in recognizing his continuous stands against societal ills in Bong County.

According to Senator Kpehe, his advocacy is intended for a better Bong County and Liberia as a whole, where equality will be the hallmark of practices. 

He stressed that it’s now time that leaders of Bong County engaged in practices that will bring about a transformative agenda and reconciliation.

He assured the citizens that he would continue to work for them (Bongese) for the betterment of Bong County and Liberia at large. 

The Bong County Senator further told the Tribal Governor Council to check for land space and promised to pay the cash for it and to construct the office of the Council in the County.
